Ok, I wrote a review and sent it to a mod. I waited liek two days and asked he if he liked it or not (cause i never got a reply). He said he sent it to another mod (formerlaxdemon-I believe) and it's been like 4 or 5 days since i PMed it. The point is do you Mods tell the users if you don't approve it or if you do. And hwo long does it take. I'm just wondering cause I thought it was a good review i just never got a reply.
Thank You if you can help

Same thing happened to me. I sent my review of the sc21 to warrior and I haven't gotten a response yet.

As the Supermoderator of the Equipment Forum, I try and stay up to date on any potential reviews, but I have not seen any reviews in the past week or so that have been brought up for consideration.

As many members can attest, I usually get back to members very quickly or at the latest, by the next day.

As for reviews, we are very picky. If your review provides no basis for comparison, it will most likely be declined. If the review is poorly written (spelling and grammar mistakes) or lacking in description, it will most likely be declined. If the review is on a item that has been discontinued, it will most likely be declined. If the review rates the item 10/10 or 9/10 and boasts that it is the greatest thing ever- heavily opinionated- it will most likely be declined. In fact, it is best to avoid giving any numerical assignment at all opting instead for a comparison to another item. If you just got the item and/or used it a few times, it will most likely be declined.

Any other questions for me?

edit: if a review is declined, I will ask that the member be PM'ed that it was declined so as to limit any waiting. If a review is declined, it is not always because of what you wrote, but sometimes the item you are reviewing and it has been decided that said item does not merit reviewing on the Forum.

That clears things up so i see. My may be declined because i use a numerical system i thought thats what you want us to do because thats how it is on a lot of the reviews and i also have one or two personal statements. ( my review is the Torque) Anyway thank you things are cleared up for me unless any other members have problems?

Glad I could help. Assigning a numerical review does not necessarily preclude your reviews passing, but it won't help as we often read reviews where the ratings are obviously not realistic. We also don't allow duplicate reviews. I think that covers anything and everything.

Sorry if this is off topic, but your avatar, this has been eating me up, is that you or something you found?

It's a farsical image of Henry Rollins. I bear some small semblance to him as far as hair cut, facial features, but not quite that many tattoos.

Glad I could answer all of your questions though.
