I know your not gonna like this, but the only way u can improve it is by using it ALOT!

shoot lefty on the run or just shoot lefty until u arm gets sore everyday and you will be good
its the only way to get used to it

a guy on my team (hes crazy) duct taped his stick in his left hand, it was hard for him to do stuff, but he definately had to use his left hand. He had no problems after that.

Start really close to a net or target, and throw with ur left hand, then as you get accurate back up, and do the same thing with your shot, also it helps if you look at ur righty shot in a mirror, and try to make the lefty shot identicle

I'm a D-pole but one way I've started to get better at my lefty is to do everyday things with it. Start brushing your teeth, typing on your calculator/ cell phone, etc. with your left hand. I noticed that my lefty feels a lot more natural. And just play a lot a lot of wall ball with it. Good luck.

In terms of doing everyday things with your left hand, it'll work. Im a natural lefty, and obviously in a right handed world I use my right hand a lot, eg with a mouse, turning doorknobs, I even shoot a bit right handed(guns that is, not lax).

Anyways, I started play LAX recently and atm, I can cradle more comfortably righty than lefty, simply because of the usage of my right hand. I havent gone to extreme measures(duck tape) yet, however.

When you play with your right, look at the positioning of your hands, study the movement when you pass and shoot and practice proper technique.

Then mimic it with your left, starting slow and then it will become second nature. There is no reason why you can't throw, shoot, and catch with your left just as good as your right. Don't get discouraged, use it whenever possible and HIT A WALL!

just do the same exercises as you would with your right. Practice everything the sameway. Try to use your left hand more often then your right. If you're just throwing around or anything like that use your left. The only way to improve it is to use it.

im in the same situation as tomtom, im naturally left handed but some things come easier right. like lacrosse im dominantly right handed, baseball i bat right handed but throw left, lots of things like that its weird. my left hand is horrible in lacrosse i need alot of wallball.

Wall ball is the best way to strengthen your lefty other than that pass with another player with your left hand.

try getting a scrimage together with some guys, and force yourself to use your left hand the whole time.
the more you use it with defense and in a game situation the better off you'll be to practice on a wall or in a goal.

should you be able to scoop the ball lefty as well as pass/catch/throw? I can do all the others but scooping like that just feels really weird.

another hint too when first learning and always is to tape an x or make a mark on your wall to aim for and try to hit every time to get that muscle memory down cause if youre just dicking around throwing when you need to make that pass in the game youre not gonna be very accurate.
