lol...no your perfect height...im 6'3" as well, i use it to my advantage so that i can shoot/pass/catch over all of the little guys lol. im not fast tho so i make up for it with my height and stick skills.

There's a role for all body types:

To see how a big man should play attack, maybe look at Gary Gait or John Grant Junior (~6'4", ~220). Nice mix of finesse and power. Of course, you'll need to spend an hour or two developing your stickwork to get the finesse part down.

You'll see a lot of six foot something guys plopped on the crease for attack, they make great targets for feeds with out to much manuevering. But any person of any height can excell in lacrosse, it's all bout where you want to play and what you want to put into it.

wall ball. I'm 6'3 also and i have the most endurance of any one on my team. If i were you i would also keep defense in mind when considering your position. I'm able to get in the way of a lot of shots. I cover m y attackman so he never gets the ball. also when i clear I keep the stick up high and cradle it, and i rarley get the ball taken away.
good luck

I'm only 6'0 200 lbs. This wouldn't really be an advantage in the states but in Japan Im one of the biggest on the field. Its great to use the swim move on the little guys.

dude the taller the better you have longer arms, just cradle over the little kids heads and you probly have a good 5 inches over an average goalie so put it over him. i think height is a great advantage

the great thing about lacrosse is there is not usually any special body type needed if u can make up for it with talent. (some people might disagree but defenders should be at least average size for their age and not smaller)

Yeah, look at Ian Dingman.
6'3", I would love to be 6'3" on the field. (I'm 5'4" and am constitenly being plowed over).

We had a midfielder who was like 6'2, and he was a rocket. Then we had an attackman who was 6'6, skinny guy, but we would just kinda alley-oop the ball to him, and he would quick stick it in. And then our whole defense was over 6'.

Sounds like you should play midfield. I know plenty of tall midfielders who are absolute STUDS.
