yearhar so after a game ref walked up to me and said id be beast if i worked hard on stick skills and alot on left hand.....

even though i was beast with left hand and stick skills i dont know why he said that but anyways is there any other exercise to improve stickwork except from cradling and switching hands? :dummy: :dummy: :dummy: :dummy:

Wallball! Lots and lots of wallball!

Regular throws, 1 handed throws, throws on the run, catch left throw right, catch right throw left, quicksticks, behind the back, around the world, the possibilitys are endless. make sure u use both hands.

How about you stay humble. Saying that you are already a "beast" will make you think you don't have to improve. Everyone can always improve.

The wall is your friend.

If the ref is chirping you like that, there's obviously something very wrong with your stickwork. I will go as far as to say that the Wall is your new best friend.

obviously u need to be able to catch and throw(result of wall ball)---but a lot of people tend to forget to mention it doesnt mean anything if u cant keep the ball long enough to pass it or shoot. work on your stick protection and dodging. i am friends with a lot of the d-guys on my team so i practice with them and fool around a little bit. try that, it really helps you get an idea of how to get to the cage.

whenever you can, have your stick in your hands. do everything with it, flip light switches, move things, and hey, you could pick up your room with it!

but seriously i have my stick in my hands just about 24/7, except for when i'm at school. when you pick it up put it in your left hand, it makes you get so much more comfortable with it. i went from 4th string attack to starting and being the third leading scorer and i contribute it mostly to always having my stick, that and playing all year round which is like the same thing.
