I have been working out a lot lately and i have noticed that one side, my left side, with all my muscles tend to be bigger. i am a righty so this confuses me, anyone know how i could change this. i try and work my right side more so that it will even out. anyone else have this happen

nobody is perfectly symmetrical. You can try using dumbells and other ways of isolating one side from the other if you want.

More than likely what happened was when you began working out you leaned or even just looked at the left side of your body....When I first started lifting I had bad form & I would always look at the safety racks on the right side to make sure my right side was not going to hit them.....Can't really explain why but in turn my coaches explained to me that by doing this I had made my right side stronger than my left...(I guess it puts more strain/more of a workout on that side)....Anyways, my right arm began to completely over power my left...If you believe this may have been the cause simply "look the other way :chuckle: "
your left side is bigger probably because you dont use it as much, ive had the same problem and i was told that because i dont use the one side of my body as much that it would build up faster. hope this helps.

do you play basketball, or a sport where you jump alot? If you jump off your left leg this might be why, but if you've just been lifting i have no answer for you

When my sister worked at Baskin Robbins for a couple of months her right arm was noticbly stronger looking than her left arm. I can't believe it was all from scooping ice cream.

fastest way to build bicep is to flex.... no kidding.
before lacrosse i did martial arts, which builds pretty even muscles. then, after i started playing team sports, we'd salute by flexing and raising our right fists.
in a coupla months, my right arm doubled in size.

i talked to my trainer at my school and he said that ur dominant side has more coordination, but ur nondominant side is stronger. that makes sense to me
