what do you have to mount it on an iso and burn it? WOW 3GB. Thats alot.

Don't do it folks, newer isn't always better. Especially when something has been freshly released and the bugs and kinks haven't been worked out.

Just think real hard before you do something stupid.

It really doesn't matter if you know what you're doing, for instance I partitioned my hard drive before installing Vista so I could dual boot. That way if I found out I didn't want Vista I could delete the partition it was on.
Edit-You are right about saying newer isn't always better, I wouldn't buy Vista until a year after it's release. If you don't belive me look what happened to the Xbox 360.

Just download the longhorn shell. ITs the beta release of the beta vista lol. It doesnt format your hard drive yet has most of the cool stuff that vista has.

If you don't like it you can just uninstall it too -_-

i just downloaded it, burnt it to a DVD, and will install in after partioning a section of my HD to windows in the morning. I'll let everyone know how it goes. because you all care.
