I wondered why a kid my age was on TLF in the middle of the day.

Anyways, sometime last week something happened that made me sick. And it's not like it was a cold. I've got some freakish sickness where I have to use the bathroom every 20 min. It sucks because I've been out for the past week and I'm in a bunch of honors courses so catching up after a bunch of missed days is going to be torture. Especially tomorrow since I'm not at all better and I still have to go to school so I don't flunk.

Well, school sucks right now. I'm taking on 6 AP/IB courses this year. Problem is I missed 5 of the first 12 days of school. One week I missed 4 out of 6 days (just this past week actually). Basically I'm trying to make up everything because even when I inform my teachers well in advance, they can't seem to pull things together for me. So I'm doing that, but I also have had a cold for the past week which is not getting better (probably from the lack of sleep), so all I want to do is sleep but I can't miss anymore school and I have to make up all of this work. Pretty much that sucks. Oh, on top of that, I have to make a decision about college this Friday. It's pretty awesome let me tell you, a tad bit stressful.

Let me tell you from experience though, getting a few bad test scores will not hurt you. Simply focus on the next unit and score well on that one. If you're a good student, you grades will come through for you. Also, we all have our rough times (I've been through it/am going through it and everyone else has as well), so you're not in it alone. Take a break, look at what your doing and get back at it.

That being said though, bring on Friday!

you wanan talk about a crappy day?

first of alli had school today. to justify that, i'm in year around school so i should be on vaction right now, but instead im in intersession for alg.2.

so today in class with it 5 hours of math and complete hell to me, i understoon nothing so i b.s.'d my work and then playted cards and took my teacher in a game of chess with a test grade riding on the game. luckily i won the game and pulled an A on the test because of it.

then though, i get called out of the class to be told. some black kid broke into my car, didnt take anything but 7 dollars like a ****in idiot. obviously this kid jjst wanted beef which he will get im sure.. because karma will get him, either karma or me which ever comes first.

then the cops tell me they don;t have enough evidence to do anything to him.

then i go home and my chem teacher from normal class e-mails my mom about me missing work, so now im doing 10 chem assignments and a lab write-up.

i hate today and school :guns:

I've been getting bad grades because class is to easy, so I don't take the time to do my work correctly. I got a 55 on a big trig quiz because I put the measurements of a 30 60 90 triangle in the wrong spots. I got an 84 on an Algebra 2 test because of leaving off negative signs. I wanted to see if I could do the whole test in my head. We're working with inequalities. I do most of my homework 10 or 15 minutes before each class starts, or 10 or 15 minutes after class has started.

School isn't that bad, the only thing I hate about it is a few idiot kids, but even then there aren't many of them. My math grade is slipping a bit though and that kind of bothers me since math has always been pretty easy for me, and if it drops down to a B it will be my only B and it will irritate me for quite a while.

Think of it this way though- Assuming you chose to teach in an area of your interest and you hopefully enjoy that area, you're at least enduring five classes of something you know and partially enjoy. While on the other hand we have to go through some classes that we have no interest in whatsoever. I personally would rather go through 4 blocks (I have 4 blocks a day although teachers usually only have 2-3 of actual teaching) of a class of my interest, rather than having to deal with subjects that I can barely make through the 85 minutes. Probably would become repetitive, but at least I would pay attention to what I'm doing. Not to mention one could always teach different levels of the subject through out the day. I know many algebra teachers also teach trig. Many English teachers do different grades throughout the day and many science teachers teach anything from chem to physics in a day. So I guess it's all a matter of perspective.

I am in school right now, and it is terrible. I am researching for an essay on Lord Of The Flies. It is a pretty straightforward book, but still, it is an essay and it is still going to take some time.

But anyways, school itself is not too, too bad, but waking up is jusdt terrible. 6-6:15 everyday and then go and spend my mind on stuff I am not even interested in or motivated to do... awesome.

No, not that bad. I just have to pee every 20 min. I managed to get into school today. I'm glad because I made it through the entire day except my last period study hall, without having to go to the nurse. Other than about 10 hours of make up work, it's not that bad because I was missed by my friends and a few cute girls. I felt so loved.

i cant top eastcoasts story by much. i have 3 ap chem labs due and a test all on the same day, a monday. english honors is ridiculously hard cuz our teacher is going to have us write 4 in class essays and 1 take home next week. i can barely keep up with that and my other 4 classes. and today i was going to do some hw during lunch and for some reason the fire alarm went off and it took 20 minutes to finally go off. i was only left with 20 minutes to do almost an hours worth of work.

Schools pretty chill right now......I'll make a list for you guys....(I'm a soph)

P1: Free
P2: Animal Science-blow off class....take some notes on farm animals and raise chickens, rabbits, etc.....boring most of the time but no hw
P3: Ceramics.....blow off class....really easy, no hw, and sometimes fun
P4: Zoology/Botany......rarely any hw, class itself is usually pretty boring, but you go on this crazy trip at the end of the year to an island and go dive and kayak in the ocean.....etc....looking forward to that a lot!
Lunch.....
P5: English.....boring, but easy
P6: Spanish III........semi-hard.......extremely boring....but its the last yr of language....
P7: Algebra2/Trig.....so far it's easier than I expected......

Pretty much all A's besides maybe Spanish I think.....which is probably a high B.

today was pretty good. i am in concert band (play the sax), and the marching band did this huge at-school field trip with a bunch of the middle schoolers. they all came to our school and everybody in band went out to the football field and hung out. our only assignment for 5 hours, was not to get in trouble. after about an hour i got bored, so i left and walked home since i live about a half mile from the school. i ate something, took a nap, then came back to school right before the band thing ended, went to one class, then went home. great day.

The only bad part is waking up early in the morning, but if your a senior taking basic photo and cooking, and not taking a spanish :fart: , it's not a bad life. I'm also not taking an AP this year either. I was just not interested in microeconomics enough to take an AP for it.

Wow yeah,I'm hating school right now. 3 diffeerent teachers threatened to give me saturday schools today and I didn't even do anything out of line. One of them already sent an e-mail to my parent's. I figured she would, knowing her (she's a terrible teacher, and is also just a-welll, you know) so I looked in my mom's email and she made up a lot of crap about her constantly having to correct me and other B.S. and I have perfect grades in her class. I don't know what the hell else she wants from me. She asked for a conference with my parents, where she will no doubt tell them a bunch of crap that they will believe because she is the teacher, and my parents never even stand up for me because half of the time they think I'm lying, and the other half, they don't want to look stupid in front of other adults. I hate it. Not to mention a few people that I used to think were cool are now just being total a-holes

my classes are like this
1. Spanish II (sucky class terrible fat teacher who teaches us like we all know EVERY damn thing about the language)
2. Tv production II (amazing class get to make commercials and do morning announcements everything is free handed work we decide what we shoot and then we edit it to our preference so much fun)
3. Chemistry honors (our teacher is old as dirt... and thinks we are all nuclear pysicists.. so she doesnt teach just tells us a formula and then sits at her desk and reads)
4. Geometry honors (awesome teacher the guy has add and he teaches for 10-15 minutes and then tells us a story then teaches again.. i love math)
5. American history honors (amazing teacher makes fun of kids lets us talk and have class discussions we watch cnn for like an hour everyday)
6. English II honors (cool teacher she is like 28 and makes everyone laugh so english isnt bad)

all in all not bad for my sophmore year of highschool
