If I have a honors class that has a weight of 8 and an accel class of 6 and you get a B in an honors class, would that be the same amount of points if you get an A in accel or is it a little bettter?
My schools weights for classes ( should be same for every other public high school)
8 = Honors
6 = Accel
5 = Acadmic
4 = Foundations
Is there a forumla to find out points your earned or something?

THis is a complete guess, but this is how I would think logically they would do it
Honors(8) * B(3.0) = 24
Accel (6) * A(4.0) = 24
My educated guess would be yes, but it is most likely thats all we can provide. Ask your guidance counselor or maybe one of your teachers, they ought to know.

Ap / Honors / Humanities = all 8

Honors(8) * B(3.0) = 24
Accel (6) * A(4.0) = 24

if i were you i wouldn't get used to calculating your gpa like that, while harder classes do facter into your course streangth, most colleges unweight the gpa and calculate it according to their own scale where any classes A is the same numerical value.
