THERE HAS BEEN SOME CONFUSION, LET ME CLARIFY SOMETHING: THESE ARE NOT REGULAR HICKORY SHAFTS, THESE ARE MADE OUT OF AN EXOTIC IRON WOOD, AUSTRALIAN GREEN HEART WOOD, HENCE THE NAME ''AUSSIE MONSTER''.
As some of you may know I have been making Wooden shafts for some time now. Well I decided to try different grips on the shafts to see how it would affect weight/grip/structural strength/etc. Well I found that the flip grip style worked the best in all those catagories and heres what I can up with (as you can see, the green-teal section is the flip grip area that fits right into your hand)

Ive also tried a power-grip sort of shape and it came close competeing with the flipgrip but it felt akward in your hands. And as for weight, it weighs around 11 ounces with all this paint and poly on it. So I find this as a major improvment and you could expect one in around the 9-10 ounces without paint. Thanks for looking!
