i take my stuff and pull it out of my bad let it air out maybe use some fabreeze if need then put back in my bad after a couple of hours live the zipper open. except my sticks are either down stairs by the tv or in my room.

im also the low tech guy when not in season. 1 large box from wave one from our team order is my choice. all my goalie stuff, any unstrung heads, tools, my hockey skates, and some spools of lace fit in there. sticks are just lying around my room and around my house. and my helmet is on a shelf cuz it stinks.

I have an old metal box from WWII that was used to carry mortor shells. Its water proof and air tight so the smell doesn't get out. Unfortunatly it doesn't let stuff dry out and it smells terrible. I take my helmet out and put it on the floor and my stick stays posted up in my corner.

We have a spare room with a couch in it and as of now I just have all my gear sitting on that couch. Soon that room will pretty much just be a sports/mainly lax room where I will have all my weights, treadmill, elliptical machine, and all my gear. But for now my gear is on the couch half of it in a duffle bag half just laying there, and a bunch of other random crap is occupying the rest of the room. I also hope to get a nice gear bag soon so I can just put that where ever.

I have my pole downstairs so I don't have to lug it all the way upstairs and back down when I go outside and all 3 of my shorties are in my room for easy fiddlin' access. My pads are in my bag, but I sometimes lay them out in the open to air them out a little.

I like the bin with your stringing stuff, I use the exact same bin for mine. I also shove my other junk in those, so Ive got a nice stack of those things in my room holding all sorts of lax and non lax stuff.

Right after my game, i just lay all my gear out in my room, turn the fan on and let it sit for like 4-6 hours. The i just put it all in my bag, except for my stick. I usually have it with my or right next to my bed.

I don't mean to sound like a dork........but here's my two cents on tips for taking care of your equipment.

Especially for people that post bad feedback for heads and shafts (ex. "oh i had one of those heads but after playing with it twice it broke"). Sticks are plastic and metal people, which means that they will be more prone to breaking if you keep them in areas of extreme cold or extreme heat. So before you even think about bad-mouthing a head or shaft, think back over all the times that you have just thrown them in a car trunk (even in the summer, when it gets really hot), or in your basement (where it might get cold).

That's why I keep my stuff either in the laundry room or in my closet, and my stuff never breaks (unless i've been playing with it for over two or three years).
