Looks pretty nice just tighten the knots and fix the twists.
EDIT the pocket looks crooked.

besides the fact that my personal preference would be a wider channel, it looks pretty good for your first try. I like the saddle idea though.

Looks a little crooked, and the coil is done wrong. You're supposed to use the string from the outside nylons for the coil, not the inside. And there's a saddle mini tutorial in this thread here.http://lacrosseforums.com/showthread.php?t=42800&highlight=saddle+tut

Figure out that saddle and you got yourself almost text book RP.
It's not that hard...Take a look at some pictures.

the gut is connected wrong. its hard to explain, so just look at some authentic RP pictures and compare how the twists are done

Do you mean the sidewalls, because I just noticed that too. The rp sidewall tutorial is in this thread http://lacrosseforums.com/showthread.php?t=24532&page=2&pp=40&highlight=rp+tutorial

I'm not sure. I only use it when I feel like making a truly authentic rp, since I don't think it does anything.

nah, not that. if you look here http://www.rock-itpocket.com/Pages/Store/Heads/Brine/brinecyber/fullsizecyber.html you see that the knots on the sidewall are apart of one twist, not two. the way they are connected in the RP in this thread is like that of a torpedo pocket.

Didn't notice this before and from what i read no one else did either.
But the coil is done wrong.
It's Part of the Side not the track

Before I tell you all that is wrong with it. let me say that it looks pretty good for your first one. Overall good try and If it works for you then thats all that matters.
1. The coil is wrong but there have been a few people to tell you that already. It is a part of one of the sidewalls not the channel.
2. Your twists are wrong you have them completly backwards. They are supposed start at one knot on the channel. run out to the sidewall. twist on the way back and finish on the knot right below the one it started on. Yours are reverse of this.
3. Your saddle is kind of cool, good idea. But it is wrong and I know you know that. But if you want to do the sadlle right. Use the fake RP tut we have on here. And study the pics carefully. The pictures in that mini saddle tut are wrong (http://lacrosseforums.com/showthread.php?t=42800&highlight=saddle+tut). Who ever did the gold channel that is in those pics, Did not do it corectly. They came close but no cigar. So find a good pic and study from it.
4. The outer sections are to consist of one large peice. About 11 yards total. You want about 3yards over hang on one side. And about 4 yards overhang on the side that creates the coil.

What! That's where I learned to string the saddle. Is the drawing one (the one drawn by hookem that's not a picture) right, because that's the one I used.

The one in Blackhawks post. The drawing is correct. That is how you start it. But he dosent go onto the next row, witch is where its make or break. The pic's in that same post of Blackhawks. The one of the gold saddle. It starts off right. The first row is right. But everything under that is wrong. Its very close as I said. Who ever did that saddle Only did one thing wrong. Its where you postion that knot in the middle of the saddle. I wont go into to much detail.
But If you look at This Picture of the gold saddle.
http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b324/midknight12/RP%20Tutorial/Saddle.jpg
And look at this Kryptics pic from the tut.

If you study them you should be able to figue it out. Kryptics is correct buy the way.
