I have a head that I want to repinch because its getting to be wide again, but I have a pita already made onto it and I do not want to take it off. Is it okay to boil while having a traditional strung in?

I wouldnt suggest it. The leathers will probably expand and it wouldn't be too pretty.

aw laxgod beat me too it yea im thinking the moisture from the steam of the boiling water will definitely ruing your pita , but hey if you strung it yourself it should be so hard to re-do it
you could try stuffing your pocket with like newspaper or a towel and then boiling it and hopefully that'll keep the stream from getting to your stringing

leave it in the back of a car for a while. its not as hot out but on a sunny day it should still work. might take longer than it would have if it was still summer. but, its worth a shot.

Go for it, after boiling it shove the ball and butter knife in it (this trick is only useful on customs) and leave it there.

I have a pincher thing and right now im pinching the head with it, Would be okay for me to run a steady stream of hot water onto the head while its getting pinched to make it stay? I used to pinch my heads that way but sometimes they would always bounce back.
Its either that or I have to boil it.

Just do it over the stove. No need to remove the pocket, may just need to tweak it after you're done pinching.

and I would suggest put it in one of those big ziplock sandwich bags put it in boiling water so it does not get wet but still warm ( sorry for double post ) and I dunno if this will work it should though

Well if you prestretched your mesh(and string your pocket deep) there is no point to the ball and knife trick.

Sorry gigo, but I have to disagree with you here. I find that even after stretching and conditioning and stringing, the ball and knife works good. It helps with pocket placement and depth. I double ball and knife mesh and customs, and it works great for both of them.

I just held my head pinched then ran hot water over it and it seemed to do the trick. Now I think my pocket it is illegal because the water made it deepen lol...
