whatsup guys. After finding this site and a couple kids at school to throw around with lax is slowly taking over my life again lol, but im cool with that.

anyways ive had a razor as my backup for a while with 6d mesh but always hated it. i decided to pinch it last night then today i went and bought a stringing kit and put a high pocket in it.Only thing i dont like about it is the mesh. Its STX mesh and it has some channels in it, which seem ok, but the mesh is just too soft. i might have to go for some Jimalax mesh, seems like you guys like that stuff. anyways on with the picks. oh and btw i used all the tuts on the sight for this, very very helpful. enjoy, and consructive critism is appreciated.

only problem i had witht he pinch is that i think it came back quite a bit. maybe i didnt let it cook long enough.

tighten those sidewalls up. Good job though. I just don't think that that pocket will stay formed like that. Mine never did

Thats a pretty cool pinch. If it comes out, just do it again

EDIT: Nice pocket as well. Although you might wanna stretch the mesh out a bit.

Ok heres my suggestion. Get some jimalax mesh. What you have there is STX Rail mesh. It is horrible. The little channel thing basically do nothing. As for the stringing the top looks alright. The sidewalls looks a little bit akward to me but they might be right. I can't tell if the bottom is right. Even though there is many ways to the bottom.

as it has been said, get some mesh from Jimalax... rail mesh is pretty much as bad as it comes. but it doesnt look too bad, tighten up the sidewalls a little bit, but it shouldnt make much of a difference. and could you take a picture of ther topstring so i can see if its correct, for you? thanks.

awesome pinch. i cant see the stringing that well because of the thickness of that rail mesh but it looks good.

ok, update after playing it. This pocket is awsome. Sooooo much better than my old 6d mesh. The hold is awsome and it throws pretty damn good too. It does lack a little whip that im used to so im gonna play around iwth the strings a little more. It does seem like it will stay formed like that. Im just gonna throw around iwth it a little more and adjust the shooters some more, and if i like it it might take over the job as my starter and the matrix with monstermesh will be the backup. maybe some jimalax mesh a alittle down the line too. we'll see

you went through the scoop hole frist both times. go through that the first time and then through the mesh when you make the loop, if that made any sense at all. but its a good start.

and get whatever kind of mesh you think you want. i personally like soft and american, but thats totally up to you.

what do you mean the scoop hole, the 4 holes on top? I do a regulare loop pull thing and then do it again to get it tighter and pulls it in opposite direction. idk, but this meshs sucks lol

whats the differnenecs in the meshes. i think soft will be too soft, whats american?

read up on them on the site and ended up getting the hard traditional. and dammmmn that site is cheap compared to the bull STX crap kit
