Cruel Joke?

I recently purchased a shaft from qclax.com, and it came today. I was very excited and did not notice the lightness of the giant tube. Well I was very disappointed to see that I had been shipped an empty tube with no shaft. I don't know if the shaft was stolen in the mail or what, but I feel bamboozled. :thumbsdow
I know that it isn't the end of the world, but I sure do wish this didn't have to happen to me.

Main question:
Have you ever been disappointed like me with ordering lax equipment?

Mistakes like this is the reason I buy from a store.

But that really does suck. Did you call qclax and complain?

I've never had anything arrive to my house empty or the wrong item or anything like that thankfully (knock on wood). I'd definately give them a call and hopefully they will understand that they made a mistake and they will realize your disappointment and get a new one out to you ASAP, that is of course assuming that it wasn't stolen during shipping.

I've had order problems before, just last week I was trying to jump on some new Hitman 5.0 shoulder pads before the 5.5s took over and when I finally found a place and placed my order, the next day I got my feared "out of stock" e-mail. Thankfully I was able to find another place that had some left, even after a couple companies told me there were none left in the country.

oh i have. i ordered a platinum from lax.com and a box came and in it was one of the low end debeer shafts. i caled them up, they sent me another "shaft" and i opened it up and there was nothin except a recipet and a sticker and a ball stop. called them one last time and they finally sent it to me, a week after it was supposed to come.

that surprises me....it must have been stolen in the mail....ive bought ffrom there may times w/ no problems

I'm going to call qc tomorrow. If it was stolen in the mail does qc still give me the shaft?
Like with insurance or something?

Back in April I ordered gloves & a head from e-lacrosse (who forwarded the order to LaxWorld).
After a month I had not received anything so contacted them to find out what was happening, & they told me they did not have the equipment in stock (a pair of defts & an answer) so I cancelled the order.
I'm still waiting for a refund & been calling & emailing without success.
I live in Australia so it is difficult to catch them at a time when their phone is answered, but you would think they would at least respond to some of my emails...

About 2 months ago, I ordered 2 DB803's from lax.com. They shipped them, but the box split and they "fell" out in shipping. Technically, it wasn't their fault, but they sent me 2 new ones. It took a few emails and calls, but it worked out. I would call them and explain.....the worst they can say is no.

hmm. Well just my luck now. They are out of stock on the shaft that they lost, so
now I have to look for a new one. It seems that anything I want now from any of the big 4 are out of stock, because of all the new equipment that is coming in this fall. I may order a woody from Hickory lax, or the Mohawk Titanium, they would seem the least likely to be out of stock on their products.

dood that sucks ive never had any problems with QC but they should atleast refund you or offer you something free for having to wait for a shaft and get nothing but on another note my friend just got his hickory shaft lax week and it is pretty beastly
