I was a D-Man last year and weighed about 140 lbs. Right now I weigh about 135lbs. One of my coaches last year kinda asked me why I was playing defense last yr. and I just joked or something and said something like "I like to hit ppl with a stick" -after being "Decent" at D-fense last yr, this year I was thinking of going middie or attack. So im buying my first short stick,

- I'm gettin a "Warrior: Conor Gill Hero" shaft and Im putting a "Warrior: Razer" on it with some Hard Mesh.

-I wanted to ask some short sticks if this combo would work.
*I hear that Spinning is hard to do with this stick which is good because thats a habit I have to break.*

Thanks for the help

Well if you're asking if you could put the combo together you can. Especially cause its made by the same company. Im not sure about the spinning part. I haven't heard of that before.

Yeah, well as a D-pole last year If I saw a Middie or attack spin in front of me I made sure to slap that out of their pocket in a second.

Umm yeah I heard from someone its hard to spin. This shaft is similar to the Brine: Python and it has a different grip to it.

I was asking more of "weight: wise -if they go together. Or If anyone has it or used it.

Cougar,

This really is a matter of personal preference. The combination you listed would work as could any combination for that matter. I strongly encourage you to test out the shaft in person if you are at able. I also would not recommend spending money on something like a Connor Gill "Hero" shaft if you are unsure of playing as a Middie or on the Attack. As a defenseman, I would encourage to keep playing the position you have been playing unless it no longer gives you the enjoyment it once did, in which case sometimes a change can be good for revitalizing your passion for the game.

You may want to get a more mid-range level shaft or at least a metal shaft if you are not used to composite. Good luck with your search though.
