Looks a bit glossy. I prefer non glossy finishes on composites and shafts in general. But sick color.

That looks real nice. I kinda want a yellow or orange one since they look like they'd feel Kpro-ish but I don't feel like spending money.

cmon spending money is basically part of the game/lifestyle. id get one because they look solid. and for $67.00 it isnt a bad price

Spending money is not a part of the game/lifestyle...

For someone who bashes Warrior all the time about wanting people to spend money on their products and bashing them for advertising that lifestyle...you just said spending money is part of the game and lifestyle.. How is what you said any different from what you bash warrior for doing?

No offense meant, but when you grow up and need to buy a car, register said car, insure it, keep the payments up, and put gas into that car you might better understand what you can be doing with $67.00... When you work for just about 10 hours to get that 67.00 up you may understand exactly how much $67 really is to someone who has bills.

Im 17 with a car, job, bills and a future college bill i need to pay for. Spending money for you may be no big deal, but i can think of 67 reasons why i agree with Orange.

That said-- I may look into it if i get a christmas bonus from by boss...but untill then i'll stick to what i got.

Not true, the serpent lax website lists the natron special SC-1 as

Attack/Middie Shaft
100% carbon composite
Wt. : approx. 5.7 oz
Color: "Natron" Orange

The kpro is lighter at 5.1 oz... although the klyte is a touch heavier at 5.8 oz.

EDIT::: I don't want to seem as if i am bashing Serpent Lacrosse, I ordered an Sc-1 and have used it for a little while.. Its a good shaft. I just don't want the wrong information out on the boards.

so ok i hate composite because they are alwasy heavy this si light ? and does it ahve the compiste type grip?

mikeymike4
10-03-2006, 08:10 PM
no the grip is a mix between the traditional metal shaft and carbon fiber it is its own grip it is slippery enough to not be the rubber feel of a harrow but not as slippy as a metal shaft thats pretty much the best way to put it

dude you may get cash but you dont know how it is paying for gas every week which could be up to 40-80 bucks depending if you drive like me and have to refill twice..pay on cellphone bill, pay an 850 dollar lacrosse fee, tuition, if u have a girlfriend that too, ure own food, etc etc etc...so im srry but 65 dollars is alot of money...and try doing all of this while trying to help out ure mom with a rest so u dont get paid but keep just tips lol

btw that is shaft looks awesome..i wanna see a dpole tho

A part of the game and lifestyle? What lifestyle?

That kind of rationale on the game is exactly why companies are jacking up their prices to kids like you. Do you pay for your gear? Because in other posts, you've said that you're rich and your parents do. Don't talk about finance until you have a job and are financing your own expenditures.

is this serpent shaft strong? this little punk attackman at hopkins was saying how that his serpent shaft broke a harrow pole like mine. Then i just destroyed him. but i still want to know. Maybe ill even consider it....maybe.

I'm only 15 and will be 1 in march and can already see that owning a car as well as insuring it and keeping up with all the other bills that will follow is going to be a task in itself. i made a decent amount over the summer, but this is all going to be put into purchasing a car. Once that happens im going to have to stay on top of insuring it, as well as try and save as much as possible to try and atleast get a decent stereo setup. Macdaddy, my man, congrats to you that you/ your family has some dough, but the rest of us who are just average and gotta spend money to live, dont have 67 dollars for a new shaft. I saved for my sc21 after i researched it for about a month to make sure i wasnt wasting my money. I think ill stick with it.

You're right on there, but coming from someone who has had a kpro and a serpent, they feel about the same weight, but due to the process in which serpents are manufactured, mine may be, say, 5.3 whereas yours could be a bit heavier. I have been playing hard with it for about a month now in actual games and I think it has a small crack in it. It has a warranty, so not to worry about when it breaks, could have just been a bad batch. These Natron ones look absolutely sick, though. If only I had orange as a team color...

I know what you mean. If anyone remembers to when serpent lax first broke out they were listed as 5.2 but since the weight varies with every shaft they changed it to ~ 5.7 [~ = Around]

I have a black one thats 5.5 so...Either way, they are pretty light shafts..
