bottom string

does anyone else use a shooting string for their bottom string. if so is there a difference between a regular nylon botton string

there isnt really a difference, its just preference. you have to pull tight or itll be a weak topstring. plus the lace can rip much easier than a nylon. that doesnt matter much because ive never had a bottom string or seen a bottom string rip.

i usually use a shooter for my bottomstring in mesh pockets....just cause i think it looks cool and stretches alittle when the balls in the pocket

thats probable why my friends top string breaks so much w/ LU stringing

lu as in lacrosse unlimited? they use nylons in all of there stuff.

i had a hockey lace for my bottom. then i had to restring, and when youve had that on there for awhile, the knot is indestructable lol. so i had to cut it out and use a nylon.
