Im in the process of string someting like a corner pcoket. The two leathers are replaced with rubber coated wire. Is the wire legal?

i wouldnt see why not. unless they impede the balls movement in the pocket i think its ok. the wire isnt a great idea, but it is inventive.

but i dont think it would be illegal, unless you have something of the wire kinda sticking off the side of your stick cause that could cut someone.

Sorry to say this, But I highly doubt that this is going to be legal. I would try and PM LaxRef to ask him about it. He may be able to shed some light on this.

well the wire may be a problem if the metal(im assuming there is metal under the rubber?) comes out of the rubber which could be sharp and could hurt you and others.

^yeah but you could use it to your advantage. because people wouldnt know what it was from.

Are you saying it would be okay to seriously injure another player on the field? It would not be an advantage to cut, stab, or injure in any other way another player? I believe that the wire inside is what would make it illegal for this exact reason.

if there are wires protruding out from your head, that would def. not be safe therefore def. not legal.

^^even if it is not protruding out it still could poke out, thus most likely it is illegal.

i thought you were talking about a thicker gauge wire. if you were to flatten it it would work, maybe. plus that wire is definetely going to snap, so yes it is probably illegal.
