There was an article on lax.com about it. Very short but it had alot of pictures. Young freshmen Max Quinzoni played well and supposedly plays alot like Matt Danowoski with dodges and then looks to feed before shooting. The Duke midfield is strong supposedly. But it sounded like Hofstra doesn't have clutch attack and aren't as strong but still good. Wish I could have gone.

We were there from the 1st game, as a matter of fact, we were the 1st people in the bleachers at 8am. We were expecting for the place to be packed, but the weather I think held everybody back. The the 1st game that we saw. Molloy vs BYU. Cut to the chase, BYU is good and Molloy needs help, that said the 1st goalie in for Molloy threw the ball away 3 times after clearing which BYU then recovered to score... I think you know where the rest of the game went. No scoring totals as it was for a very worthy cause, PAL Special Needs Unit for Children with Downs and Autism. A great day of lacrosse for a great charity. The next game we saw was Duke/Towson and that was a absolute romp. I stopped counted at 13 for Duke, okay it might have been 11 but whose counting? I think Towson had 4 or 5, maybe. By the half it became a practice session and Danowski sent in his B team. His son Matt had 3 unbelievable goals behind his back 15 yds in front of the cage, it was unbelievable, I think he could of taking the shot at 40 yds? We then saw Rugters/ Springfield, and at this point, we were beginning to get uberlaxed. I think Rutgers won... Next up was Duke/ Hofstra and even though Duke won, Hofstra was keeping up man to man, very agressive and looking poised/sharp. I was proud of them considering how many players they lost last year. The Danowski era is defitinely over at Hofstra, watch this team with Tierney.... At this point we strolled out to the cars and met Sen. Dean Skelos in the parking lot, shook hands and said hello. Oh by the way, as we were the 1st ones there, one of the head cheese in charge said that next yr. Notre Dame has made a verbal commitment to attend this lax tourney, look for this one to become a showcase!!!!

Beg to differ, Danowski did play, I have the pictures to prove it, unfortunately I can' post, I have a Canon AE-1. I personally counted 3 goals by Danowski in the 2nd quarter within 5 min. of each other! I don't remember O'Hara?
