How can I get a better bounce shot on the run and time and room. Right now I can only get a bounce shot if I shoot it real close to the goal so there is only a small bounce. When I try to shoot a bounce shot to the top of the net it goes into the ground rolls and looks like this :bartmoon:.
Any tips

a bounce isnt a shot you should really put alot of effort into perfecting because goalies at higher levels eat that stuff up.

Actually a bounce shot is a great shot to use, an I'm guessing he is not playing at a high level right now, so bounce shots are good to use.

I use bounce shots alot. Shoot it about three feet in front of the goalie. It is pretty unpredictable.

when u take a bounce shot, roll ur wrists under when u shoot if u want the ball to pop higher and roll ur wrists over if u want less of a bounce. just something i was taught and it works, u just need to practice it.

Keep practicing at it. SouthJerzlax is on the money with the rolling the wrist thing. I really wouldn't use a bounce shot for a far time and room shot though, because unless your on turf, the shots gonna lose a good amount of power when it hits the ground.

i'm pretty sure he means like the degree of snapping a wrist. like when you snap more, the ball goes more down. when you snap less, the ball goes higher

When u take a bounce shot, if u snap ur wrists under so ur knuckles on ur top hand are pointing towards the ground when the ball is released, the ball will bounce quicker and higher (backspin). when u roll ur wrists over so ur knuckles are pointing towards the sky when the ball is released it will keep the ball more towards the ground and give less of a bounce (forward spin)

by the way you have to shoot 3/4's (kinda side arm) to roll your wrists under or over, if u try to shoot overhand it wont work.

I was under the impression that a bounce shot is good for all levels?

it is a good shot to take, but it also depends on the level your playing. I mean i dont want to get into a bunch of stuff but there are times u should take bounce shots and times u should shoot for rope. If a goalies has a high stance (where he is a little farther out of the net) then thats when u shoot for the net and dont bounce it. But if the goalie has a low stance (when hes on the goal line) then u can take a bounce shot. Just something i was taught by a coach
