We have all seen talk about the Brine Eraser but, i've never heard anyone mention this http://lacrossemonkey.com/gait-lacrosse-goal-protectors-sentinel-pro-07.html the sentinel pro. I've heard alot of good things about the Sentinel CP what's your take on the Sentinel Pro?

I use the Sentinel CP everyday and I personally love it. Its pretty protective, lightweight, and low-profile. The Pro looks pretty nice too, but I'm not a fan of the color scheme. I like the older model that was dark gray with silver accents.

All-in-all, I dont think it looks that much different than the first model. If I didnt already own a Sentinel CP, I'd deff look into buying the Pro.

The pro Looks a bit like the original but the shape near the stomach area is slightly different. All in all it looks pretty good. Price is near the same area as the original too.

It also looks like STX came out with a new pad. The STX Stinger:http://lacrosse.com/IWCatProductPage.process?Merchant_Id=1&Section_Id=1174&pcount=&Product_Id=254311

Looks like the Brine Spartan - i.e. minimalist approach to padding. Anybody know what exactly the "AirZone" over the sternum is that STX adds?

The "Airzone" piece is a detatchable belly pad, like the Warrior PC series. A lot of the CPs have them now.

I haven't seen the Warrior one. Is it some sort of air bladder/pocket, or is it just a second pad that velcroes in behind the main pad?

I believe its just an extra pad; mainly for younger goalies who are not used to the pain. Most experienced goalies wont get hit there, so I dont think its for us.

Yeah, its the pad that velcroes on to the bottom inside of the main padding, it protects your "bladder" area, above the cup.

The Air Zone is the extra sternum pad, not the little pad over the stomach. It says so right in the description.

It says it has a throat protector. Does that mean you don't have to wear one on your helmet?

no it means that it has a throat protector like warriors so if the ball goes under the one on your helmet it doesnt hurt as much

That would be a sternum pad, and its just an extra layer of padding over your chest. Has nothing to do with throat guards whatsoever.

Wait. I'm confused. Did anybody answer my question? I couldn't tell. Whats the deal with it saying it has "new adjustable throat protector", because that is what I call the neck thing for my helmet.

BTW: Whats a clavical? I thought it was your elbow. lol.
