ok. i am really confused by this whole thing, but i will try to answer everything.

1) same handed poles. so lefty poles for me

2) just use your stick and you will get the most satisfying break in. if you are that impatient thogh, just use some shaving cream on it. it also makes your stick smell macho :loser:

Just use your stick.
Have a brother/sister/mom/dad shoot on you adn play catch with you.
Another good way...GEt your pocket soaking wet from the hose, then have someone shoot on you. The impact from the shots gives your mesh a good stretch.

Actually.
I like a heavy head, and a light shaft...It gives me a more 'propelled' feeling when i swing teh stick around.

Hm...Try putting (glueing) a small weight in the butt of the shaft, to even out the weight. (Although you want it lighter...it may work for you.)

I'll try to find the thread that talked about it...

Also...What head/shaft are you using?

well if i had to take a guess he is probably using a goalmaster or an eclipse on an al6000 (that shaft is so heavy i wont use it). if thats the case i would recomend a db803 or a klyte, which are largely recognized as the best tender shafts in the business.

but i rock the nemesis on the harrow monster and i can stop shots just fine.

a new lighter shaft will not hurt you. if you are having trouble getting those really fast ones like you say, then you will actually get better.

the girls game is basically just short poles so only 2 really apply

if you are using a goalmaster, it doesn hurt to switch to the abyss which is much lighter. also get a klyte or a db803. i personally find it useless when people buy titan pros or something like that for goalie because the chances of breaking the shaft are slim. for breaking in a new stick, i would go with the water idea, but make sure they are legit shots, not like a pass cus i did that with an eclipse and it messed my stick up, shaving cream is a little messy for me.

learn how to call "whos hot" "whos go two" and "ISO" really well. i find myself using those calls the most apart from calling the ball position

as far getting better at stopping it, dont be afraid to throw your body in front of the ball and get shot on as much as possible.

just get it wet with hot water and put ur glove on and beat the hell outta it. one thing i do to get a nice channel. im on the second story and there is a wook railing with these rounded piece for decoration stick out the top. its perfect just get it wet and use that and push with all my weight. but pounding works great, and i have also heard that the cream used to break in baseball gloves works REALLY well but i havent ever tried

If you're looking for a Really deep bag. like i have. before stringing up that bad boy, wash the mesh with Hair Conditionar. then rinse it out really good in hot water and stretch it out as hard as possible. and blow dry ti for about 10 minutes
then string it up and start working with it =)
