Ok, now that I've got your attention, I have somethingn very important I need you to help me with. I've been talking to Kyle Harrison recently (yes, the Kyle Harrison) and I'm going to help him organise a k18 tour of Australia with him in March. Now, he asked me to get the names of all the junior coaches of all the clubs in WA, SA, and Vic, but I don't know all of them, so I need your help.

Here is an example of the kind of thing I want:
MALVERN LACROSSE CLUB, VIC
u/17: Anthony Bosisto/Bradley Skepper
u/15: David Joy
u/13: Daniel Keisler
u/11: Cameron Scott

NOTE: please post ONLY lists like this in this thread, or lists of which clubs haven't been mentioned yet. Any questions about the tour can be PMed to me.

And by the way guys, thanks heaps. I just wanna let you know that by suppliying the names of coaches you are helping make this tour possible.

Gday Legend,

Great news. This will be a good time to follow up on the Down Under Camps from '03 which were a great success. One thing to note. This time of year is probably not the best in terms of getting coach info as many coaches change from year to year. In any case.

WILLIAMSTOWN:
- Under 17: Ross Speakman, Ben Newman
- Under 15 Fearons: Stephen Pike
- Under 15 Cities: Josh Robinson, Cameron Martin
- Under 13 Fearons: Peter Morley
- Under 13 Cities: unsure
- Under 11: Darren Gibson

club email : williamstown@lax.org.au

as to the malvern coach it could be Anthony Bosisto or Dave Buzza. Sure the Malvern kids will know

Yeh it's definetely Anthony Bosisto and Shannon Bell for Malvern under 18's next year with maybe Brad SKepper as well depending on his state league commitments.
This years under 17's coaches were Anthony Bosisto and Brad Skepper.
Kyle Harrison Clinic or whatever would be amazing be sure to keep us up to date on all the info.

Guys, just to let you know, if you can't get the coaches names, it would be fine to give me the website for the club and I'll contact people through there. Also, Kyle asked me not to say he's "definitely" coming, because he needs to confirm it with STX and make sure he can fit in. Keep it up guys, we're getting there.

I spoke to Kyle Harrison about an hour ago & asked him if he had any plans on going down to Australia. he said NO!! It may have because he was teaching at another course run by Trilogy (Ryan Boyle). We ran a camp this week end - we had 75 kids who paid US$130 each to attend. It covered multiple skill layers.
Ryan says that if we want him he can come down to Oz & run some camps next year. August - Sept is the best time for him. Just let him know.
Go to trilogylacrosse.com for any further follow up.
Hope the ALL is going well and Victoria wins it.

what is a k18 tour

piglet
10-24-2006, 06:01 AM
K18 is Kyle Harrisons trade mark. He is producing equipment with his own logo on it. So the K 18 tour would be his own with him making the profits rather than Warrior/New Balance - he is probably just putting his name on their equipment anyhow and you will just have to pay a premium to have K 18 on it.

Supprise, supprise, supprise.....(not). He was a mug in Australia, he was an embarrasment at the Worlds in Ontario, now finally the'ye cottoned on to him at UMD. The guy can play, but hell he is one meat-head and clearly too stupid to realise he was given an opportunity to play at the elite level. An opportunity that plenty of kids back here in Melbourne would give their left arm for.

Wombat, too bad your diplomacy from Willy and U'19 Aussie team didn't rub off on him.

Peace
Roy.

Roy I dont think thats being fair mate when you dont know the details of his life over there and really only have rumour and innuendo to go on. Yes it's an oppurtunity but it is not so easy as everyone thinks.

And since when did attackmen listen to goalies?

Corduroy
10-25-2006, 01:02 AM
Cannon - You are right! I didn't room with the guy at UMD, but I have seen the kid for many years here in Melbourne as well as recently in Ontario. My opinion is largely based on that, not rumour. Let's face it, he's not been the greatest ambassador for Australian Lacrosse whilst serving time abroad. Anyone who is serious and committed doesn't take 4 months to get over an ankle.

Would appear he hasn't grown up a great deal either.

Listen to goalies? Should be compulsory. Smartest blokes on the field (apart from ours!).

Roy.
