Large diamond mesh, I'd reccomend 12d or 14d.

id say a closed sidewall hardmesh pocket. it will probably be a lttle shallow and poor on rebound but it has a very consistent throw in rainy weather

will silicone spray keep the mesh hard or just protect it from water

protect it from water, itll be like teflon tiles where the water wont absorb into the mesh and get soggy and gain whip.

definitely wat he said and also is you have three sticks ,cycle them, you have ure game stick, back-up, and in my case the brand new one (12D hard) ure going to be breaking in that last stick slowly anyways and as long as you can throw with it the rain will soften it up and it should be fine. its worked for me in tsunamis!(god old lehigh valley weather)

i have 4, three that i use alot and one other one they are strung w/ closed sidewall 12d nemi 12d eclipse 10d extreme and the other is a 20d eclipse open sidwalls
in the rain i always fiddle w/ them when not in net i also find boiling water keeps the mesh hard
i sold the 12d eclipse and am now getting a goalie EX
