i was wonder where i could find a 1st gen matrix? like does anyone know of any websites that have them in stock?

yeah, all the retail stores sell the current gen matrix, which is 3rd i think, ull have to check ebay. I have 2 1st gen's, they rock.

I have the 1st generation one as well. Well, I got it when it first came out so I assume it's 1st generation. I love it. What are the newer ones like.... wider? By how much?

Just check ebay like the other guys said and also look in the classifieds on different websites, you could even use the one this site has.
People are always selling them, except me cause i love mine...................

you might want to check the e-lacrosse.com classifieds, they may have it.
What are the differences between the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gen Matrix-es/Matrices, and how do you tell them apart? IIRC, the wings on the 1st gen kept the ball from coming out when turning the head sideways. Is that right?

From what i understand they changed it because the 1st gen was too pinched and the ball would get stuck in the back of the stick from doing a face off.
I have broke the sidewall strings so many times cause of the pinch, i now put nail polish on the problem string to make it last longer..........
I love the pinch as the ball never comes out of the head from most of the hard stick checks i get.
