Indoor goalie is diffretn than field goalie, more pads, and there are no long stick defenders, but the same thing I told you last time, play whatever floats your boat.

Run, run, and run some more. And maybe run a few more miles just to be safe. You can also do some sprints, lifting, and just play a lot of wall ball. From the positions you want to play, you should get a friend for one on ones and to shoot on you, too.

I'm not sure since you have asthma, and it's cold outside, but I just started running the cardiovascular training on this site today, in preparation for winter track.

It seems like it would work, but it's to soon to tell.

I'm pretty sure he's referring to Indoor lacrosse (modified field lacrosse) not box.. In indoor the Goalie padding is almost the same and there is long sticks. Box is completely different though.

I also have asthma, here's what i've been doing to get ready for my indoor season(starts in 3 weeks). I try to lift 5 times a week(didnt today had an essay and 2 tests 2morrow)I also play basketball monday, wensday and friday. In additon i go in my backyard for and hour every night and play some wall ball and do sprints.
For you i would reccomend talking to your gym teacher and get a simple weight training program in place. Also jog a warm up mile, then do some 20 yd. 40 yd and 100yd sprints. Talk to some of your teams attack/middies i'm sure they would love to shoot on you if you decide to play goalie

search the forums for a running program and sure a few have been posted but in addition to running everyday you should also be stretching any time you can to increase your flexibility
and dont start off with 3 miles right away start with like 1 then build up

i dont think you will see too many results if you start lifting weights now....but u can definetely run alot and get in good shape. im not sure how out of shape you are, but u can start with running about 1 mile a day and maybe add in some sprints or something, then since your kind of in a rush, try 2 the next week or so later. im not sure you have enough time to just get up to three miles, but hey, you can give it a shot. if you are determined and motivated, you can definetely get in shape. (by the way...next year dont wait until 1 month before winter lax, haha)

actually I wouldnt recommend running miles on the track. I would run sprints (suicides in particular). My current workout right now is hit the gym mon, wed, friday and on tuesdays and thursdays run 1 mile warmup, play wall ball, then full field suicides (turn up every 5 yards). Its a killer doing this but its really effective

run, run, run, run, and then maybe 5 more miles, and then run back home
wall ball
practice checks with a friend or something
if you can pass and catch consistantly, run, and have even decent checks, a coach will love to have to play.
