DM i think there will be a game unsure who it will be against the camp runs from friday to sunday this weekend all players staying at the shores. A composite team like the one we played in last year against the team who toured japan might be a posibility

with all due respect to the other defenders that tried out i dont know how you can put ben tippett as the equal 6th defender. i didnt see the trials but ben tippett was handy at ALL level and should be considered a starter. let alone in the top 6 easily.

they wern't listed in order of field preferance if they were i would have put myself first :agree:
Yeah point taken but i think i will be more focused on the under 19s team.
He has a lot of potential with his size, would need to get some more checks into his game to be dominant and he slides well.
Sorry to all in the ALL this year but it wasn't the strongest year and to be handy not dominate doesnt make me jump out of my skin

ive been trying to find some info on this event such as dates, venue, etc.
The best i could find is http://bayswaterlacrosse.com/data/ASPAC.htm which is hosted by Bayswater Lacrosse Club. How odd.
Anyone got a better link. The New Zealand Lacrosse Associations site is either not working or hasnt been updated with any useful information.
this link appears dead:
http://www.lacrosse.co.nz/
and this one seems to work but not sure how often its updated:

No way but its not a world championship so you wont get the best players, None the less still a very strong team
morelax
01-01-2007, 05:54 PM
thats not true the best players should still be there. There are a few to many players in there who will need to be carried
cannon
01-01-2007, 05:59 PM
morelax development teams are always going to have a few guys who get 'carried' bu that is the point of development teams in part. the blokes that are getting carried might realise their potential with the exposure to players better than them and bring them up a level.
i only know a handful of guys on that team but it seems pretty solid to me. good luck to them all.

Is the aussie dingoes really the best name the team could come up with? i know its a better name than the kangas but do we really wanna look back in a year or so and say.... dingoes, what were we thinking.......
if anyone has any suggestions serious or comical i'd like to hear them.
good work by the team against the 19s with a bit more time with sticks in hands im sure it'll come together well for NZ.

i didnt have any objections playing under the name of 'kangas' in 2005.
im sure there will be plenty of 'dingo got ya baby' comments to come.....

yeah drop bears goes alright. i was down for bilbys or platypies or something. i don't see why it has to be an aussie animal. coulda gone with the australian assault or something.
assault kinda fits in with the whole aussies as convicts thing aswell.

i like the dingoe and the text but the lacrosse stick needs a little refineing. he could do with a slightly beefier arm aswell haha.
nah its a good one.
what are all the stickers for the helmets like? will the back stickers be dingoes or australia?
with the gloves we are getting their wont be any aussie stuff on them at all. bit of a shame.

not bad whitty!
constructive critisism is that his neck looks like quasymodo the hunchback from notre dame! sligtly lessen the neck, bigger arms and some sligth refining of the stick simply throwing strings with only four strings (traditional pocket! defs a big fan of the aussie flag in there somehere!
