does anyone else besides me use a beer cap instead of a plastic butt? if so what cap.

right now i hav a carona light and on another stick will soon hav a mike's hard lemonade

it's illegal to, but i know plenty of people that do use them

u just tape it on like a regular but end. it wont cut your gloves if you put tape over the edges. I dont personaly do it but i know a lot of people that do.

no idea, but the ref made a guy on my team take it off before the game and put a rubber one on, the ref said it was illegal

i use a Old english 40oz cap on mine, just jammed it on there and taped the edges...light as a mofo

the refs here were pretty adamant that its illegal. personally i think its stupid. you can have a goal disallowed because on an illegal stick. all some coach has to do is point out your botttle cap to the ref after you score a goal and there goes your goal, and maybe your teams chance of winning the game.

believe me, you wouldnt want to be one of my players if that were the case.

so the question is why risk it?

I've had my stick checked numerous times, and I don't ever use any other shaft other than my harrow and my ultralloy, both with beer caps. They have never been declared illegal.

i have one on my goalie stick and no one ever checks

some others on my team that do it just put a piece of tape on the end over it. no one can tell its there and then just take it off when u are done
