Me and my brother were running for football. I can run a mile but only with my brother pushing me or else id stop at half mile. Then the next day we did a snake which is you set cones up 5 yards apart all the way down a football feild and jog across the feild jog 5 yards down feild then sprint back across and do this all the way down feild. I felt like i was going to puke after 1. My bro says for football one night he did this all night long. My bro was fine after the one snake. I way 180 and am 5'7 and am 14. I need to become faster and get some endurance. Your cardio program is way to hard. Any ideas? THanks alot
Before starting the Cardio-Program i posted in this forum, you need to be in quite a good shape hehe.
any ideas ? run, just run. run until you have a better shape and feel ready to start the cardio-program.
drink a lot of wather, eat less junk food.

piss off a dog, attach a steak to your ***. when the dog goes after you tell me about your endurance problems. you need to find ways to push yourself.

Well if you want to get fast cardio isn't going to help you any. If you want to get faster you need to be doing sprint work. Distance for endurance. For speed. Do 40s. Find a hill and run up and down it. Up will help increase the strength in your hips and legs. Running down will teach your muscles to turn your stride over faster. Another important thing you can do is hit the weight room.
But don't do what 80 percent of people do in the weight room and focus on the upper body. Come on we've all seen the guys that just work their chest back and bi's and they walk around on stick legs. Focus on your Core to get faster by your core i mean Your back hips and legs. Focus yourself on Squats, Dead lift and most importantly for explosion Power Cleans or hang cleans. Your chest and Arms are important in football but not nearly as important as your legs and back. Ask any pro and they'll probably say the same thing

Thanks alot everyone. The reason im not to good at running right now is because im recovering from knee surgery so im trying to work my way up. And johnny my school gives you weightlifting programs to get ready and it has all that stuff in it too so that should help me alot.
