View Full Version : Would adding Mike be good or bad?

It doesn't look like Mike will play for Baltimore, so if he were traded to Rochester, would it be a good move or a bad move? Mike Powell has the potential to be one of the best in the MLL even as a rookie, but considering Rochester's recent success and what they would have to give up to get Mike, would he really be worth it?
Assume that Rochester would have to trade 2 of the following players and a 1st rounder:
Cassese
Shannon
Ward
I think this is a reasonable scenario as these guys are young and better than Coffman so Baltimore would want them more.

i have a feeling that next year when the league (hopefully) expands baltimore will trade their rights to mike powell to an expansion team

defanitly do nto add him unless it costs us very littel in the way of attack players. do not trade any middies or D for him, if they can use some of our depth at attack to get him then that is fine. Rember there is also a good chance the Grant will be back at the end of the season, exspecally if we are going to the playoffs.

Coffman is Killing, Casey is Mudering behind, Ryan is having a free year without the knee brace. Having Mike could free up Casey and or Ryan even more.
