I have been playing for the past 6 years with high-throwing sticks and after my icon just died I need to find a good throw string combo that has little to no whip, but has pretty accurate both overhand and crank results. Also I'd like to see what kinds of pockets you guys put the combo in to see if that has any effect. Pics would be best, but written examples work fine too, thanks guys!

I've found that the easiest way to get moderate hold without whip is a couple of straight rolled shooters up top.

I have 3 rolled uptop just straight across, but it makes my over-hands unpredictable. Great for cranks and sidearms, but kinda sucks for over-hands. Maybe the softbag is contributing to it?

straight weaved shooters or the occasional U depending on how pinched the head is and usually a mid-low pocket work great
the way a pocket throws has mostly to do with the sidewalls, than the shooters. Id recomend a basic setup, interlocking with 1 nylon 2 v's.

^ I'm currently using a gforce with double-sidewalls. Do you know of any pics of heads with the setup your suggesting? I liked the way my icon came factory (1 straight, 1 diamond dividing the two straight ones, and a U connection to the bottom one)...but yeah, you know of any pics?

*From what I hear enjoilax doesn't like whip at all, would any of his setups (this one espically http://home-and-garden.webshots.com/album/551341057HwRfxm ) be good?

it all depends on the head, and if you get used to it or not. i use sticks that i feel have no whip when passing and shooting, but other guys on my team cant keep the pall in the air with them for more than 10 yards. it all depends on how you throw too.
