Okay so i wanted to get a wrangler but some people have told me that it drinks gas like its going outta fasion.
I was told to look at a suzuki version of the wrangler, like the vitara or sierra.

So anyone own one of the mentioned cars or a similar one?
and if you do how is it?

Thanks in advance guys.

yeah i heard that too. i also have heard that they're unsafe and i think they have a high tipover rate. might be thinking of a different car on that though.

I had a jeep wrangler 94 sahara in college, it was the best. I put almost 1200000 on it in college, I took it all the way from Alaska to San Diego. Girls loved it and it was super reliable.

Actully there are people with more than a 1mil. on there vehicles.

Get a JEEP. You will love its dependability and off-road capabilities.

Actually jeeps arent really gas guzzlers. If you get a 5 spd it can get up just over 23 miles to the gallon so dont listen to the stereotypes. Also Wranglers have one of the highest resale values of any vehicle so you could potentially make money from owning one..most of the people posting have no idea what they are talking about they just know they look cool.
They are very customizable but it is an obsession....... I would def get a 97+ one they have a good history and a better ride

Definitely go with the Jeep. They are not that bad on gas, they are the best off-roaders around, and they are very reliable.

As for the 1 million miles joke, there was a story not too long ago about a guy who put over 1 million miles on his Dodge pick-up, it got Dodge so much free advertising that they sent him a brand new truck.
