Babysitting
as a precaution, i would only babysit if you are a girl, or if you are a guy, you are babysitting younger guys. the reason is, little kids have active imaginiations and have a tendancy to make things up.
for example a guy my mom knows got in a crapload of trouble because after he babysat a young girl, she told her parents a story that he was doing....stuff to her. they found out she had made it up, but it was too late for his reputation.

Oh yea man, I agree with you on that point, I personaly don't babysit, but I wouldn't even think of babysitting girls by my self, besides my cousins, but it was with my sister too.

pawn off valubles if you're desparate. Also sell stuff on ebay. It's a really easy way to make cash, more simple to sell stuff than you would think. If You're good at stringing sticks, do that, too.Ask your parents if they have anything thats just taking up space that you think is worth something and take a commission on it.makes both parties happy. If you want to do manual labor go ahead, but I would much rather get to know values of things, pick stuff up cheap, and resell for more.

I would suggest shoveling driveways and cutting grass. Gets you in shape and obviously they are either old or rich and have alot of money. Ill get back to you if I remember anything else.

Mow Lawns during the spring
Shovel snow during the winter
Pick up leaves in the fall
Wash cars, Life guard(i think that could be 13-14) in the summer
Also if you played other sports try getting a reffing job with soccer or basketball. And if you can string sticks you should be business.

I would say babysitting is fine, in my opinion at least. I think the chances are very low that the person you are babysitting makes something that bizarre up, and it's a great way to make money. You basically play with the kids for a little, or put them in front of a movie, put them to bed and youre done. I usually get paid for at least 1 or 2 hours of watching tv in their living room. Better yet, string sticks while sitting in their living room watching tv, for money, ha i should try that....

oh yes , by the way, the way you make money on ebay is through the shipping :agree: . charge roughly 10-15 dollars more than it will actually cost to ship it, so you can lower the actual bid price and make your product more appealing to the passing shopper.

most experienced ebayers don't fall for that. Never overprice more than 10 bucks

Yea, I mean when you see someone selling a computer for example for $80, and notice the $200, it makes me think.

I hate that. I will never buy some thing if the seller charges over 10$ to ship. Unless its over seas. But when the guy is from the same part of the country. No way.
Ask your parents? I mean your 13, worry about graduating middle school. Then worry about a $700 drum set. What do you need a $700 one for anyways? Start small build up. Maybe ask your parents and see if theres things you can do for them to pay them back. Work for your parents.

Reffing soccer or baseball games is a great way to make money, as cali feeder stated above. You just need to watch out for crazy parents.
