Hey guys/gals,

I am in the market to buy a wireless adapter and have pretty much settled on getting this one: http://www.dlink.com/products/?sec=1&pid=308 or this one: http://www.dlink.com/products/?sec=1&pid=475

Wich of the two is better (they are both 44.99 CAN)? Is there a better buy fr that price?

Should I look into getting a USB adapter? Those are around $20 cheaper.

The first one is more for a one person laptop and the second seems to be more for a family type laptop that you will be sharing. It depends on what you are going to use it for. A USB one would probably not be a good choice because I would imagine they would be slower.

USB cables are not a great option. They are noticably slower and less reliable.

I think Lowell hit the nail on the head...the first one is more for an on-the-go type of computer (probably a laptop), and the second seems like one that is, well, a family laptop.

Cingular makes a pretty darn good one for a laptop. My dad has it and its pretty fast. But if your dead set on those just read what cali and lowell said

Neither of these are laptop adapters....... :banghead:

I am looking for a PC adapter. My laptop already has an adapter built in.
