The NBA Season is starting and I was wondering if you guys had any early predictions on who is going to take it to the championship. Even so who you guys got winning the eastern and western conference, even MVP.

Spurs take the western conference and the Championship
Chicago taking the eastern conference
and LeBron winning mvp..

(hopefully celtics will win the atlantic division)

RIP Red Auerbach.

i'm thinkin cavs suns lebron get finals mvp and league mvp. and just cause the bulls had one sick game, and the next night they lose to orlando?they need to find some consistency before they become a legit contender.

you speak of orlando like they arent a good team? its not like they lost to the bobcats or hawks, they beat the defending champions by 42 points on the road.

Im a nets fan, but its hard to go against the bulls this year. They have strong back court, and with the aquirering of wallace, it looks like know one will stop them...also look for the magic to make a run

Wizards will make the playoffs, but the big challenge will still be to overcome the Heat and Cavs, they give us the most trouble. Jameson said it best after the loss the other night, "they need to learn how to finish." I don't expect to see them in the Championship series just yet.

I still expect another good season though, hopefully this year I can make a game or two. Plus I like the new gold alternate unis. Not as cool as the Bullets ones, but a nice change of pace.

How can you put the Heat up there and not the Bulls when the Bulls beat them by 40 points?

The Suns. Once Amare gets back to his old self they'll be able to compete with anyone.

true dat ^^^ and in response to bluedevil14 it wasn't orlando who beat them by 40 it was chicago, and I am stating that both of these teams might look good on paper, but they need to prove it on the court. To be a legit contender they need to find consistency in their game.

Im from Chicago so I am biased but I really think the Bulls will bring it home. Ben Wallace was a HUGE pickup and put them over the top. Remember, they took the Heat to game 6 last year and almost beat them and then the Heat went on to win it all. If we had Wallace in that series to size up Shaq, it could have been a different story.
