Removable Arm Pads?

I'm a goalie and was looking at this CP. Does anyone have it? Are the armpads removable?

Yeah, I think they do. I'm pretty sure thats what derrick has. (His doesn't have those on it)

I shall confirm it, they do come off. If you look at the strap running down the side of them, that is how you adjust the height, and take them off.

BTW: If these are the same as Derricks, I borrowed his today to kind of get a feel for it at the end of practice, and it fit great. What size would you guess his pad was?
