so the hole in the wall of my bedroom wasn't lacrosse-related, but it is oddly enough the size of a lax ball. whats the best way to fix the hole? cheap would be good too, but not necessary.

is it actually a hole or is it more of dent kind of thing? if its a dent, you could use spackle, but i dont think that would work for a hole.

i would use spackle if it's only the size of a lacrosse ball.

At Home Depot you can buy a mesh wall repair kit. The mesh pieces come in different sizes, but I believe they have them in 5"x5", which seems as if it would work for you. The mesh has adhesive so that you can stick it over the hole. Then you need to spackle, sand, and paint, and you're done. It's very easy and relatively quick, and very cheap.

yup thats the best way to do it, only dont go to home depot. support your local smaller hardware stores and they will probably be able to help you a lot more than home depot. . .sorry i used to work at one and it was annoying when people would compare us to home depot. even when we were cheaper and friendlier.

He's got the right idea. I once made a hole in the wall, and this is how I fixed it. My mom was present at the time though so I still got in trouble.

Like said before get the repair kit. Its fairly cheap also. You could also fill it in with foam and then spackle, sand, paint.
