some noob plays in glasses(not you) on our team and he got slashed. he glasses fell off and people stepped on them before he found them. i have some vision problems as well. most people would say it is bad, and i still dont wear contacts or glasses.

well i was thinking about wearing a skull cap so the back of the glasses are like tucked into the skull cap. but that would cover my ears so i'm kinda worried

I used to play in glasses. They don't fog up at all unless its cold and rainy, and unless your helmet is super gigantor big, you don't need to worry about them falling off.

People on my team played with glasses on, it sucked when it was raining for them though. What I would try to do is go to your local conatact/glasses/eye care place and ask them if you could have a trial pair of contacts because your others got lost and you're waiting for them to come in, they've done it for me before.

Yeah, if you get hit hard enough they fall off and it's even more embarrasing that without glasses. And BTW, did the asian part matter?

i would say depends on your position if your a mid or attack i would say its a bad idea but d pole you could probly pull it off for a while but its only a matter of time before they fall off and get stepped on

Im supposed to wear long distance glasses because I failed the eye test. But I can see good while I play. Its sometimes hard to see if my eyes are dried out or its cold. I wouldnt bother wearing them for this game if can see ok, but wear them if you are blind without them.

You should be fine. Just try to not get laid out or anything. Some of my friends play with glasses and they make out fine.

i played in glasses for a week or two when I was a noob, and they worked fine, they were just hard to get the helmet over

and if theres a store or optical store anywhere around they sell this rub you can put on the lense to prevent them from fogging up if its that big of a concern.

i guess it is alright if you have no other option... but as one of our team captains once said... "please guys, if your defender is wearing glasses... take him to the goal."

Eff that. I'm a defender that wears glasses and if you try and take me to goal you'll have a hard time doing it. Sometimes contacts just aren't an option for people you know. I'll probably be getting mine in January though just in time for season.

haha this kid on my team used to play with these glasses that had a strap on the back of them and tehy looked more like goggles or really goofy sunglasses, you could change the lenses between clear, orange, and black. we used to call him robocop whenever he wore the sunglasses. please just wear your regular glasses.

I played w/ glass for about 4 weeks b4 I got contacts and it wasnt that bad.
it sucks if it rains or it it is cold cuz then it fogs, they never fell off (and i play d and mainly use my body, expecially when runnign the ball)
u shouldnt have a problem unless they dont fit u well or the weather is bad...

ha theres this kid on our team that plays in those transforming lenses or whatever. But theyre always dark. So it'll be a cloudy day and hes sporting the sunglasses.

There are also some elastic things that you can attach to the ends of your glasses that go around your head (like goggles). It basically keeps the glasses tight so they cant fall off. The goalie on my hockey team uses them and he hasnt had a problem.
