View Full Version : Question that's driving me to Insanity

I currently have Warrior superstars that fit great. However, I need some new gloves, and tried on the glads, i2's, and G-forces at my local store. The i2's 13" were too small, and the glads and G-forces seemed a little short in the finger, compared to the superstars (I have long fingers). I am interested in the insanities, but don't know how they compare for size. BTW I searched and nothing came up that specifically answered my question. Thanks!

why do you need new gloves if your superstars already fit great? or why dont you just buy a new par of superstars?

I'm buying a new pair becuase the superstars are custom yellow and green, whereas my highschool colors are blue, red, and silver. Not to mention I don't want to hve to buy another pair of the same custom gloves if I wear them too much. And insanitites are pretty cheap and good, Glads are good and on closeout.

Insanities have a shorter finger, so I've heard and experienced. Just go with glads, the fingers will stretch out when they get broken in. Also, if Gladiator's fingers are too small for you (and you were using the 13.5" version) then there arn'y going to be many gloves that will fit you, but the Ventilator Gloves are really nice, and have long very flexible fingers.

you might want to also check out brine gloves, such as supercrosses and defts. their fingers are relitivly long, and both are extremely flexible

Has anyone noticed that all gloves seem to be getting shorter, tighter, and smaller. Especially the Ipros

Yeah, I've noticed. I think that's good because gloves fit more like a...well, glove...meaning they're tighter and closer to the hand and there's less bulkiness and space in there...which is good for control. It almost feels like you're not wearing gloves compared to the old, bulky kind.

I feel like the palms are too constricting, and I'm not getting a true grip on my stick like i did with my defts. It also may be the type of material they use in the palm on the defts that make them so good.

So you would not recomend getting the Glads or Insanities at all, but looking at Brine or Harrow gloves instead?

I don't know much about the Insanities, but the Gladiators feel great. Mostly all of the Brine gloves I've used have also felt great.
