i saw the clutch today at a booth, and I must say...it was pretty stiff. The scoop looked good and the pinch was nice. But the only way to determine which one you like better is if you try them both

I actually have a clutch. i got it from a friend whos dad works for brine molding heads. Its really nice. super light, nice pinch and alot of sidewall holes. i just strung it up recently and i really like it. i havent really used it in a game yet but id definatly suggest it.

is it stiff? does it have enough flex for a F/O? and do you think that it would protect the topstring well.

i cant speak from real game experience, but the clutch was clearly stiffer than the E3 I messed around with in the store, and that means its perrty stiff It also had a nice pinch

If i get an 07 head, that will be it

the helix isnt as pinched as the clutch so it depends on your preference

i really like the reverse flare on the helix but i think the clutch is lighter.

well i was using a helix last weekend i dont like the outward flare but thats just me. i thought it was kind of heavey but it had such a quick relase.

ive thrown around with both of these and i highly reccomend the clutch...its light at 4.7 oz and has a nice middie type pinch to it

the helix was also nice but the flare idea didnt seem to be worth the money to me
