ok, traditional regular stringing. I paid about $80 for it, so I'll prolly be asking about $65/ obo.

YOU PAID 80 FOR IT?!!? i think you got just a little bit.. just a tad bit ripped off there. and its just the head right? wow... here in VA, surge complete sticks are going for about $67

yeah, thats what i get for going through sports her way.... I used to love that store, but they've completely ripped me off on this whole surge issue...... form now on i'll be going through bacarach, unless anyone knows of someone better

yea bacharach's always the best way to go. can you just return the head to sports her way tho? i'm sure you can! and complain alot!

oh no.... i already talked to them... I'm not allowed..... it's stx that wont allow it... i can return it, but only for the same thing back in return... it's been the biggest fight ever......sue heether even got on the phone w/ me to tell me I can't send it back and get a refund. It was such a hassel that i figured it would just be easier selling it...... it;'s been 3 months and I've been very wrong in that area as well.....

i always order sports her way! they are very reliable.

they have a really nice deal right now - a complete tempest for $70! but that is with the trakker pocket & it's pink, so i wouldn't want it .. but if you like that style then that's awfully cheap for a tempest.

has anyone heard anything about the new debeer impulse?

like differnt places have differnt prices on sticks. you'll be surpised how differnt the sticks are sold. like on bacharach, great atlantic, and like sports her way. and there's another one.. umm its called like girlslacrossegear.com but you should shop around before you buy a stick. i'll ask around if anyone needs a surge, don't worry! we'll find a buyer! yea i haerd the impulse is pretty good, but i'm not sure how its any differnt all the other offset low sidewall sticks. ican't wait to see it tho, but of course.. my dad's never gonna let me get ANOTHER stick! ahah, i just wanna play with it!

longstreth is also nice.

i have a lot of trouble finding places with a variety of shafts. i rarely by a complete stick .. i never want the shaft that comes with the head, or the stringing that comes with the head, etc. i am very picky .. i only like traditional stringing [mostly 'cause i don't want to take the time to get used to a different stringing] & i only like small shafts, because i have small hands. :)

haha, yeah - advantage is really nice.

and we've been doing advantage for like 3 years, so pat stewart recognizes us & don west's daughter has been on my team for a while, so it's really fun to go in there 'cause you always see someone you know.

i think i might go there to order my new stick. i want a tempest - but i'm not sure if i should wait to see what the impulse looks like!!

Are u going to stay at 65 bucks for just the head, at first i was extremely interested in buyin the surge, but after hearing some complaints im not sure!! Its an awesome stick adn that is the lowest price ive ever seen for it. You could always try ebay, im sure u could get even higher than that!!!

yea, try e-bay and put a low opening price but a high reserve, you dont have to sell it then if they dont meet your desired price, but the low opening price will attract people, i say its worth a shot! and if the surge is anything like its male counterpart, the fuse... *matt shudders at that thought*, no wonder you want to get it off your hands!

Eh, i thought about the eBay thing, registered and everything, but they wanted me to pay money for selling it (Money that I do not have... I'm a poor college student, remember), so I threw that idea out the window.

I dunno if anyone got this, but its $65 for just the head... I don't buy my heads and shafts together... I dunno if anyone caught that.

Matt: You're not helping selling it w/ that comment :tongue

lol, well to sell stuff on ebay you have to first make an account which is 10 dollars a month then its like 20 cents to put it up for sale....an this is probably not worth it to you, if you have afamily member or friend that could put it up for you that would be a great help! but at this point ebay is the best way for you to go, there arent any surges on ebay currentyl, but i see a lot of sticks taht get hihgh prices!!!! I know a store on ebay that sells a lot of sticks i mean A LOT OF STICKS!! and they dont have any surges and im sure they wnt to get there hands on some so many if you contact them they will buy it from you..u never no! Alright just IM ME at nicoleg621 for more infoo
