I went to the local Halloween Classic at Ohio State University and saw that Warrior had put out a new, large catalog of their 2007 gear. So, naturally I looked for a new goalie head and saw the Abyss 2.0. Being that it takes more than two years usually for new goalie sticks to come out aside from the norm, I was a bit interested. However, there seems to be no info on it anywhere....does anyone know anything about it? I have three sentinels, and I know the Abyss is about the same weight and size, so I was just curious if anyone knew any more about it. Has anyone seen one, held one? Or does anyone know when it'll be released for buying?

i saw some pics and it is more rounded now like a nemi, but still very solid.

i personally think that the abyss is the all time best goalie head ever made so if warrior managed to make it better im buying it... i doubt i would like it any more than my current abyss but who knows

im against it...i tried throwing with it with a 12d pocket and it was terrible. also, IT SNAPPED after 2 shots directly to the sidewall.

I understand where you're coming from, EHSLAX12...but don't you think that may be a bit exaggerating? I mean, two shots? That is pretty slim...if it truely happened, you should consider that it was probably prototype or even a bad model. You didn't buy the on that broke, did you? Were you just trying it out at some place? And, on the fact of throwing, maybe it wasn't strung the best. Usually, it isn't the head that throws bad...it is the stringing or the person. But, then again, I haven't used one, so don't know...

You know what else looks somewhat interesting is that Brine Eraser. But, dont' talk much about it here, there is already another thread on it.

I have an STX Goalmaster and the Abyss. After I bought the Abyss, the goalmaster stopped seeing shots. I'm heading out to look for photos of the 2.0 now.

12d is kinda rough in it, but mine was a great backup stick last season. an abyss is hard to get a good pocket in but once you do it rocks.

I will probably get the Abyss 2.0. I have the original one and I love it. It worked well in box and in field.

my new abyss 2.0 is really flexible going like backward and forward but side to side it is real strong
