The Irish Lacrosse Foundation has appointed an Irish Box Lacrosse Committee to organize the Irish Indoor Lacrosse team for the World Indoor Lacrosse Championships May 14-20, 2007 in Halifax, Canada. The team will consist of Ireland- based and Non-Ireland-based players. The aim of the recruitment effort will be to select 75% of the players from within Ireland's borders and 25% of players from abroad. If you are interested, please read the following.
Eligibility Requirements:
Certain requirements have been outlined by the World Indoor Lacrosse Organizing Committee.
Eligible Players can be;
-Passport holder of Ireland
-Entitlement to Irish citizenship is based on an individual having one or more grandparent (or parent) born in Ireland. For further details on how to acquire Irish citizenship, contact your local Irish embassy or consulate.
-Minimum two years of residence in Ireland
Further to this you will be required to fill out and pay for an annual membership with the Irish Lacrosse Foundation.

Declaring your interest - players
If you are interested in playing for Ireland we would like to identify the following important date.
You must declare via email to irishboxlax@dublinlacrosse.com prior to January 1, 2007.

-Players Full Name
-Date of Birth
-Email Address
-Full Mailing Address including Post/ZIP Code
-Citizenship
-Are you a passport holder of Ireland?
-Do you currently reside in Ireland?
-Position
-Highlight your experience
Once your email has been received you will be sent further information regarding tryout dates and location.
Declaring your interest - coaches
If you are interested in being involved with coaching the Irish team in the World Indoor Championships, please likewise send the above listed details to irishboxlax@dublinlacrosse.com
You must declare your interest in coaching via email to irishboxlax@dublinlacrosse.com prior to December 1, 2006
