Do any other goalies play other positions on a regular basis. I play midfield and am thinking of playing goal in field, but I still want to play midfield. I play net in Box lacrosse and in hockey. Should I stick to one position. I'm a good middie, but could totally suck in goal, should I take the plunge.

Thanks.

i used to play attack, then i played attack and goal in a league when i was like 12...then i switched to a full time goalie.

i like to play d here and there because you get to understand how they function, and it makes you stronger as a unit if you know how they work and how difficult it is

I started out at attack (hence the name), but at one game...our goalie didn't show up so I volunteered. I actually enjoyed it so I started to play goal. Now, I usually start attack, and play goal second half.

Same exact thing happened to me. Except I play defense and goalie.

switching from attack to goalie is rather easy. that is what i did, this is because (if your not afraid of the ball) then you can read shots easier than coming from any other position because thats all you do is shoot.you also know the way shots move beter than any other player on the field as an ex attackmen.
