I have searched these forums and google for a copy of Boxla rules, but so far i haven't found anything at all.
Does anyone know of a reliable link whereby i might download Bola rules?

Yep. Try this site. NLL rules with some minor changes regarding nationality.

If you're looking for rules for "real" Canadian box, you might be S.O.L. as far as finding them online. You could try CLA, BCLA or OLA websites as a starter.
If you really need CLA rules , I have a surplus 2005 rulebook I could send. PM me an address if you can't find rules online.

Here's the CLA rule book. I think it's a couple years old.

buy a rule book???
Sorry to bring this up several weeks after this was posted but this has been a concern of mine for a long time. Why should anyone have to BUY the CLA Rule Book? I think selling the game would be a lot easier if the rules readily available. If the rule book was on the CLA website there would be no excuse for players, Coaches and parents to not know them.
The rule book costs about $7 and I can't believe the CLA treats this as a big profit maker. As a Coach, I have team parents mad as hell about what they think are wrong calls by the Referees. When I don't share their "enthusiasm" they some times question whose side I'm on. When I explain the rules to them there is often a pause followed by ... "well that's not the way we do it in hockey".

............ "well that's not the way we do it in hockey".

If I had a nickel for everytime I heard that as a referee......Well, I'd still only have about $1.20, but I haven't reffed too many games!
Sadly, some organizations let essentially anyone coach and don't really provide sound training .
