my friends reatarded and he asked if i could leathers as shooters so i did but it has so much whip its crazy. i loosened them and tightened my sidewalls and bottom strings and its still crazy. He really wants them and hes too stupid to string them himself.
my camera is broken so dont ask 4 pics

actually leather shooters can work,ive done them in my old mohawk woodie for traditional effect.just amke sure you use 1/8 inch shoe lace leather and not the standard 1/4.

leathers as shooters, as sidewinder said you're gonna want thin ones, and if you're using them and you still have monster whip, shallow up the pocket, because those leathers aren't gonna contract or expand very easily.

Hmm, if you rolled them it might just work. Only with some really hard mesh though or itll lip like a motha' yo!

ive never heard of leathers used as shooters only as topstring or bottom string on the really old school heads, just make sure to find thin ones like sidewinder stated above

They have spools of 1/8" x 25' leather at Walmart for around 4 bucks...Look in the arts & crafts department. They should have a few different colors too, if I recall correctly.

Yeah, I did use leather shooters in that pocket, and they do actually work. My dad's old woodie also has leather shooters, and they work great.
