So I need to put a ball stop on my head and I realize that the ball stop is pretty big, so I want to know if it is legal to cut some parts off of it so it fits the head better.

yeah thats what I always do, they usually come in a square or H shaped and for pretty much every head you have to cut em down to fit

I also have a question, is there any rule on how large, both width, length, and thickness, a ball stop can be?

So, you could legally use a piece of electrical tape as your ball stop?

probably , but just incase i'd check with the ref's but ballstops are like 25 cents at jimalax anyways

yeah the only problem is they dont let you make an order of less than $10
so to make it large enough youd have to buy 40 ball stops or just get some other stuff
but it's kind of a pain if all you want is one ballstop

That really pisses me off sometimes when I just want some mesh or like 1 kit they force you to buy more to make $10...

I know and when you add in shipping it comes out to like $16
so really the minimum you can pay ends up bein like $15 (depending on shipping weight

I know that you can't stack ball stops such as the warrior ones that come in the stringing kits, i stacked 3 once and the ref made me take them out but as far as the width goes he said it can be as thick as you want as long as its one ball stop.

I think a Ref would notice the sharpie during a stick check :whyme:
