I was wondering what kind of pants do people use. I find that I get hit in the knees when I go out to make a save. Is there any kind of pants that have built in knee protection or do I have to go out and buy knee pads??

well the maxlax ones are solid but, some good old brown pro's(hockey ones) would get the job done.i think some vaughn vision, velocity,or legacies would probably be good too.

your best bet is to just buy some GOALIE knee pads. that or suck up the pain.

I just have my goalie knee pads tied to the pants, much like some hockey goalie pants are made these days. Check out the following picture of me for an idea:

I use an old pair of Vaughn hockey goalie pants that I bought off of Ebay. They came with knee pads that are tied to the pats with string. You can buy similar pads for like $30 bucks form a hockey store and connect them yourself with some string. Personally, I think they slow me down a bit so I don't wear them when I play anymore.
