I searched the boards and didnt find any tutorial on splatter dying. I was just wondering if anyone could help me out in how to do it and what to use.
My second question is what are some good color combinations to use for a dye job???
please help, and thanks for those who do.

don't really feel like going into depth with the splatter explanation (i'm sure someone else will)
Colors i'd say use ur school colors

Red/Black
Blue/White/Black
Red/Green/White
Black/White
Pink/Black
Purple/Green
Just some ideas alway do the lighter colors first

i just did my revo ina white blkue and black splatter and it looks pretty nice
but what you want to do is take your unstrung head and clean it really well with soapy warm water then if you want white to show use a hot glue gun( id suggest low temp its much easier to peel off after you are done dying it) and put on some glue then dye it the lightest color you want in my case i put it in blue, then let it dry and put on more glue then dye it with the next darker color, then just repeat the drying -> gluing -> dying steps with the colors you want from lightest to darkest.
good luck hope it turns out nice
btw im gonna post pics of my revo sooon so u can check it out if u want

Ok since noone else is doing it....
Step 1 - Dye the first color the lighter of the two (in case you do white and another color you skip this step)
Step 2 - Put on Hot glue all over the head where you don't want the second color to dye
Step 3 - Dye the head while its got the hot glue on it
Step 4 - Pull off hot glue and Vouala[Sp?]
NOTE* these are the general steps there are a few more intricit steps like the heating water and putting the dye in it..

If you are having trouble getting vibrant colors you might need to have your water hotter. When i do mine bring it to a boil turn it off, put the head in and add the dye as quickly as possible. This only works if you dye in the same vessel you heat the water in. Just make sure its not something you wil put food in ever...
