What do you guys do on Snow Days? I range from sleding, making igloos, giant kickers of of roofs, forts, snow ball fights, hitting cars (not a good idea :nono: ), and I try to snowboard, but apparently you need balance. Just wondering what other people around the country do.

Wake up at 9 at the latest (not fun, I know, but you can afford having the whole day go to waste due to sleep, thats what the weekends for), watch at least 2 episodes of Beavis and Butthead, eat a pbj, and if its a true snowday (meaning tons of snow, not just ice), probably go snowskating at my friends house. Eventually throw a few snowballs here and there, make a giant jump, and probably have my annual near-death experience involving a stupid idea to do a flip off something thinking the snow wont hurt to land on (3 years running!), the good stuff.

What is this snow you speak of?
Ugh...We have had like one snowday in the last 6 years...I think I just slept a bit, and took the trucks off my skateboard, and ghetto-snowboarded.

I try to sleep in, but usualy doesn't work for 2 reasons, 1 being that my nextdoor neighbor has a ridicuously loud snowblower, and 2 I usualy have to shovel/blow, but after thats done I just have fun.

snowball fights, build snow forts, go sledding, take pictures of the scene (in my opinion nothing's more beautiful then fresh snow)

As soon as I wake up I shovel houses until the afternoon. I then come in have hot chocolate, take a shower, and play video games. Then at night we have snow fights.

i go back to bed. then get up eat, snowblow the driveway if its no longer snowing, wait if it is. and then i just chill and do whatever and continue to convince myself that i have no homework. being a senior, im getting really good at that this year. before it was just eh...i dont *think i have any homework. now its Nope, No Homework, Definately Not.

That would be good, only I don't have a fire place, well I do, but it doesn't have real fire, it use to, and could be again, but the chimney would have to be all re-done and inspected...But just "kicking it with a female" and watching a movie is a good thing for a snow day.

We generally don't get snow days unless its 2 feet deep at a minimum, then they will consider it. We do very often get fire days, thats when our school catches on fire.
On Those days, if it's snowy, I'll play a game of pick up hockey on the lake or get m80's etc and blow holes into the big piles of snow on the side of the road and make forts with fireworks..

yea here in seattle its pretty ridiculous, there is no snow!! Being from the east coast i know what a REAL snow day is. Here in Seattle they cancel school if there is like 1/2 and inch. Anyway, i play basketball, slide down this big hill thats really icey, and just chill.

Wow, where I live, we were thrilled to get like a half inch a couple years ago. It never snows over here. We have to go up to the Sierra Nevada mountains for any. It snows fairly well over there, it's like two hours drive east from where I live. Lucky Canadians.

That was awesome, it snowed in SF :agree:
But there are no snow days, maybe flood days or Tsunami days but no snow days where I live.

Colorado sucks, it takes huge amounts of snow to get a snow day. We will have several late starts throughout the year, to give the snow plows time to plow, but rarely will we have a snow day.

Icicle Duels. I don't know about you guys, But here we get ones that are about 6 inches thick and 3 feet long. That gets crazy. Wear a paintball mask though. You will regret not having eye protection.

well i never had a icicle duel, but when i was younger (around 4th grade) we threw ice balls. Not exactly the smartest idea, and i ended up getting a huge bruis on my chest from a ice ball that was the size of a ripe watermelon, and i am not exaggerating the size.

I've seen them go from the roof of a 2 story house and touch the ground. Easily 4-6 feet wide. It would be amazing if you could even pick one up, let alone play with them.
